The Baby: Hi.

Me: Hi Monkey.  What does a cow say?

The Baby: MoooOOoooOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooOOOOoooooo

Me: And what does a doggie say?

The Baby: arf!

Me: That’s right!  And what does a horsie say?

The Baby:Nnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

Me: Good! What does a sheep say?

The Baby: Ba. 

Me: How about a kitty?

The Baby: Mow.

Me: Tractor?

The Baby: *Pppppbbbbbppppbbbb*

Me: You are a very smart girl.  Smart like Mommy.

The Baby: OOOOHHHHHHHH NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me: Oh, really.

The Baby: Bye-bye.

  1. Oh my gosh I love the Bella conversation. That’s so funny! Lily had a great one a few weeks ago. We were doing the animal noises and showing her Grandpa (Ian’s dad) how good she is at them. “What does a cow say?” “Mooooo.” “What does a kitty say?” “Meow.” “What does a bird say?” “Tweet tweet.” “That’s RIGHT! What does Grandpa say?”

    Without missing a beat…. she belched as loud as I’ve ever heard a baby belch. It was absolutely perfect…. and it IS what Grandpa says, so technically she was right.

  2. I love the pictures in your blog! I wish we could do this more often. We shluod have thought about this before they were born and we could have done pictures every 3 months I had NO idea that there was video! I LOVE it!!!
